​Reverend Beverly Zaleski

Reverend Beverly Zaleski is a Certified Medium and Reiki Master from Camp Chesterfield, Pennsylvania.

​

I have always been a student of life, the eastern religions in particular held a particular attraction.  ​
I started to meditate in 1975 and studied Kriya Yoga as well.   A close friend was particularly drawn to the occult and he and I went for a reading from one of the most important mentors in my life, the late Rev. Peggy Olson.   She insisted we come visit her church, The People’s Spiritualist Church, and we did.  That was back in 1996 and I think I have missed only 5 services in all of these years.   It wasn’t long before I was invited to sit in weekly séance and be tutored by such gifted mediums, ​
Rev. Leilia LeLand, Rev. Peggy and Rev. Norman, all trained and ordained at Camp Chesterfield.  Well, after five years of studying with my teacher, Rev. Leila, who, by the way was a physical medium and she gave me my first experience with direct voice, I was ready to attend the Spiritualist Seminary at Camp.   It took me five years, but I was awarded my papers and I wouldn’t change a thing.   Being a Spiritualist means being open to all spheres of existence, it means being a child of the Universe, a light being, spreading peace and alleviating the grief and fear of so called “death.”   I am so proud of our church, I am so proud to be the pastor of this amazing congregation.  We have some of the most gifted mediums in the area, I like to think of our church as open to all who hear the call of spirit and everyone is welcome.   This is definitely not the time to hide your light under a bushel, rather, we say shine, and at People’s Spiritualist Church, we help all who come find their light and shine it bright.

This Spiritualist Church was chartered in 1943, it has never been used for any other purpose than as a Spiritualist Church. There have been so many wonderful, gifted mediums who have served this church over the years, and we strive to continue this grand level of mediumship.
 
Our church honors all religions, all faiths, and all seekers along the path. We practice spiritual healing every Sunday, becuase that is the purpose of our work, to help people at all levels. We understand that when a loved one passes there can be much grief. We endeavor to show that your loved one is very much still alive, often very close and often wishing that you could be happy for them. We believe in the power of love, that it crosses all planes of existence, and we can help you understand that life is eternal.... God's perfect gift to us.

Principles of Spiritualism

  1. We believe in Infinite Intelligence.
  2. We believe that the phenomena of nature, both physical and spiritual are the expression of Infinite Intelligence.
  3. We affirm that a correct understanding of such expression and living in accordance therewith constitute true religion.
  4. We affirm that the existence and personal identity continue after the change called death.
  5. We affirm that communication with the so-called dead is a fact, scientifically proven by the phenomena of Spiritualism.
  6. We believe that the highest morality is contained in the Golden Rule: “Whatsoever ye would that others should do unto you, do ye also unto them.”
  7. We affirm the moral responsibility of the individual and that he makes his own happiness or unhappiness, as he obeys or disobeys nature’s physical and spiritual laws.
  8. We affirm that the doorway to reformation is never closed against any human soul, here or hereafter.
  9. We affirm that the precepts of prophecy and healing contained in the Bible and all sacred writings of the world are divine attributes proven through Mediumship.
